This is an unpaid volunteer position.
At the time of this posting Malevolent Dark is a non-monetized passion project built on the volunteer efforts of passionate contributors.
We are looking for a writer that is interested in writing long form reviews, discussions and think pieces on horror, gothic, industrial, metal and other dark musical content.
Requirements:
- Willing to write up to 10 articles per year on dark or horror related music topics
- Able to deliver based on pre-negotiated deadlines
- Knowledgeable on the topic
- Knowledgeable about music, music history and studio techniques
- Able to reference intersections with other horror media, topics, genres and philosophies
- Willing and able to follow site content and publishing guidelines
- Organized, thoughtful and well spoken through written word
- Willing to sign a content release to Malevolent Dark
All Malevolent Dark contributors may contribute other article of interest as approved by the editorial staff.
